Leah Borkin
Brand Identity

An independent interior designer based in Brooklyn, Leah Borkin needed an identity that projected her aesthetic of contemporary, mid-Century modern American interiors and architecture as she sought to expand her base of residential and hospitality clients.

A bespoke typeface was developed as the central expression of this aesthetic, finding influence from revivalist Art Deco typography from the middle of the 20th Century. This was paired with a series of geometric patterns inspired by ceramic tile and timber flooring arrangements favored by the designer and featured in her work.
